Can anyone else believe June is already over?
The month of June had a noticeable drop in temperature- and with that the unfortunate drying of hands… The Aromatherapy Co. Therapy Hand Cream contains Avocado, Kawakawa, and Coconut oils which help aid in restoring back the moisture, as well as having an SPF15 to protect against sun damage. Not only does it smell incredible, it absorbs into the skin really well and doesn’t leave your hands feeling slippery.
SO PH IE first started in 2015 in Auckland, with a dream to create easy-to-wear accessories; thoughtfully designed to be simple, functional and cool- and that is exactly what they have achieved. The Little Letter Earrings, and Little Letter Necklace have been my go-to for the past month, adding the perfect bit of spice to any outfit. All of SOPHIE’s accessories are extremely well made and really affordable, making great gifts as well. Although there is nothing quite like wearing your initials on your ears. Warning: Prepare for compliments!
I fell in love with the Mimicry Journals the moment I set eyes on them in a Wellington book store. People who say to not judge a book by it’s cover (speaking only in the terms of literal books) are lying in this case because judge I did, and the content inside lived up to the beautifully illustrated front cover. After reading almost the entirety of the first journal instore, I left with the following three and was not disappointed. Mimicry is a journal of poetry, fiction, nonfiction, comedy, music, art, photography and design by young New Zealand Artists. Best $25.00 (for all three) I have ever spent!
